NICROPHORUS TOMENTOSUS
N. tomentosus mimic bumble bees, most obviously during flight. They do not fully bury carcasses making only a shallow pit. The carcass is then covered in leaf littler and debris. N. tomentosus also uniquely winter as larvae.
